The Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit (UPT TIK) held an E-Ganesha workshop which was held at UPT-TIK Undiksha (Wednesday, 21/6/2017). The training was held to optimize the role of support services with an online system supporting the academic community activities process at Undiksha.
This activity was opened by Deputy Chancellor I Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Arnyana, M.Sc. In his speech, WR I explained that to support the service process at Undiksha, a system that is integrated, and systematic and supports the performance of lecturers, staff, and students is needed. With this service, activities, and activities carried out can be recorded and documented properly. It is hoped that the 10 systems (e-Ganesha) that will be used will be able to support the Undiksha accreditation process and provide easier services. Deputy Chancellor, I also said that 2018 was declared the Year of Information Technology for Undiksha. This activity was attended by University Leadership represented by Vice Chancellor I, the Postgraduate Director, the Head of Bureau at Undiksha, the Head of UPT at Undiksha, the Head of Division at Undiksha, and the Head of Subdivision at Undiksha.
Meanwhile, Chairman of UPT-TIK Kadek Yota Ernanda Aryanto, S.Kom., M.T., Ph.D. emphasizes system development completed by UPT-TIK as the system development unit at Undiksha. The systems in question include the Performance System, Lecturer Database System, Employee Database System, Legal and Administrative System, and Data Center. All of these systems can be accessed with just one login, known as SSO(Single Sign On). So, lecturers and staff only need to have one username and password.
The main activity of this workshop is an explanation from each system developer regarding the system that has been designed. It is hoped that with this workshop the E-Ganesha system can be used well and consistently.
