Singaraja. To improve journal management at the faculty level, on Monday (10/4), the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University held Technical Guidance on Journal Management. This technical guidance activity for journal management was held in a hybrid manner. This technical guidance was attended by participants consisting of lecturers who have managed journals at the faculty level as well as young lecturers within FHIS Undiksha.
The technical guidance activity which was held in the FHIS Undiksha Seminar Room was opened by the Deputy Dean I of FHIS, Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd. M.Pd. In this technical guidance activity, the Deputy Dean I of FHIS was also accompanied by the Dean of FHIS, Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed and Deputy Dean III FHIS, I Putu Ananda Citra, S.Pd., M.Sc. Apart from that, Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H. is Chair of the Committee in this Technical Guidance activity.
At the main event, technical guidance activities with the theme, “Journal Governance Towards Sinta 2” presented several resource persons who were able to attend online on this occasion. The first material presentation was by Yoga Dwi Arianda, S.T. who is staff from the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service. In his presentation, he as the Coordinator of Scientific Journals and Publications said that journal management must follow the Scientific Journal Accreditation Guidelines. After that, it was continued with the second resource person, namely Prof. Amirul. Mukminin, S.Pd., M.Sc.Ed., Ph.D. In presenting his material, he, who is a lecturer from Jambi University, explained in detail the criteria for articles as requirements for professors and indicators of predatory journals even after being indexed by Scopus. During the activity, this Technical Guidance was accompanied by a moderator who was one of the lecturers from FHIS Undiksha, namely A. Sediyo Adi Nugraha, S.Sc., M.Sc. During the discussion session, several FHIS lecturers also asked several questions including the obstacles found related to journal management.
At the end of the event, the Dean of FHIS, Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed. had the opportunity to give a speech and appreciate the activities, including the resource persons who were present, as well as giving a symbolic certificate of appreciation.
