An online selection was also carried out, by answering several questions on the AYIMUN 2019 website. “Then it was announced which delegates had passed, after which they were asked to make a position paper according to the organization and country they received. “By chance, I joined the World Trade Organization (WTO),” he said.
Head of the Department of Law and Citizenship, Dr. I Nengah Suastika, M.Pd explained that the United Nations model is in the form of a simulation or academic activity. Students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the unity of nations. “This event also teaches research, public speaking, debate, and writing skills in critical thinking, cooperation, and leadership abilities,” he explained. He hopes that in the future more students will be able to appear at international events, including competitions. This is not only important for individuals, but also for improving the grade of faculties and institutions. (hms)
