Singaraja– Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) continues to expand collaboration with other universities. The latter is established with Prasetiya Mulya University. This matter was discussed on November 20, 2019.
The presence of Prasetiya Mulya University representatives was welcomed by the leadership of FHIS Undiksha, namely the Dean, Deputy Dean I, Chair of the Law and Citizenship Department, Department Secretary, and Coordinator of the Legal Studies Program. At that meeting, the two parties discussed collaboration opportunities in submitting a proposal for the “Erasmus Plus Project in Capacity Building for Higher Education”. This project opens collaboration between several universities both at home and abroad.
A glance at the related project is a transnational cooperation project based on multilateral partnerships, especially between higher education institutions from program countries and eligible partner countries. They can also involve non-academic partners to strengthen relationships with communities and businesses and to strengthen the systemic impact of projects. These projects aim to encourage cooperation between the European Union and Partner Countries and support eligible Partner Countries in overcoming challenges in the management and governance of their higher education institutions. This includes improving the quality of higher education, developing new and innovative educational programs, modernizing the higher education system through reform policies as well as fostering cooperation across various regions of the world through joint initiatives.
Throughout the meeting, matters related to Modernizing Business Law Education in Indonesia in Preparation for Industry 4.0 were discussed, the potential of universities that could be involved, the activity model that was the target of the project, the timeline for submitting proposals, and so on. At the end of the meeting, an understanding was reached to collaborate collaboratively between Undiksha and Prasmul to submit proposals to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In particular, the topic that is high in the proposal is related to efforts to modernize business law education in Indonesia. (rls)
