In today’s digital era, we are used to navigating increasingly rapid technological developments. It is not surprising that all areas of life must be smart in adapting to this situation. No exception, the younger generation must also start to actively participate in efforts to adapt to this technological era. In this case, the ORMAWA PPK Team (Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program) BEM, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University realized this in the Kulkul Digital innovation, namely a multifunctional application that supports security, health, administration, and the economy of the Gobleg Village community. This program is certainly a form of real action for student organizations, namely the BEM of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, in implementing one of the tri dharmas of higher education, namely community service, as well as taking real action in adapting to the digital era.

         The process of realizing the Kulkul Digital innovation program certainly requires quite a long process. The first activity we carried out was coordinating with Gobleg Village officials regarding the program that we will implement on Thursday 30 June 2022. The response from Gobleg Village officials is of course very supportive of this Digital Kulkul innovation program. Mr. I Made Separsa as head of Gobleg Village said “I give extraordinary appreciation to the students who are willing to bring innovation to our village and we will support them to the maximum.” Seeing the very good response from the Gobleg Village apparatus made us, the ORMAWA BEM PPK Team, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences excited to continue our program to the next stage of development.

         The next development stage is designing the Kulkul Digital application. In this design, the Ormawa BEM PPK Team, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, agreed to determine four main features, namely security features equipped with a social button, health features, administration features, and economic features. In the future, these four features will continue to be developed to maximize our initial goal, namely bringing Gobleg Village to a digital village. We hope that this Digital Kulkul innovation program can really be of good use and can support areas of life more practically for the people of Gobleg Village in the future.
