SINGARAJA – 28 October 2023 | In diversity activity 6, students have the unique opportunity to explore the beauty of Tanah Lot Temple, one of the historical and meaningful places in Bali. On this trip, the Lovina group of Indonesian module students together with the Indonesian module lecturer, namely Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M and an experienced tour guide will enthusiastically guide students to dig deeper into Tanah Lot Temple and the meaning behind it.
Nusantara Module lecturers and tour guides will guide students in exploring every corner of Tanah Lot Temple. They will explain in detail the history, culture, and architecture that surrounds this temple. Students will have the opportunity to see firsthand the beauty of the ancient architecture and religious elements there. During the visit, students were given the freedom to ask questions and share their opinions about Tanah Lot Temple. This creates an interactive atmosphere that encourages a deeper understanding of this religious site. Students can explore the legend of the sacred snake in this temple and discuss it with lecturers and tour guides.
The visit ended with a learning recap session led by the lecturer. This session aims to summarize the knowledge that students have gained during this journey. Lecturers will help students synthesize the information they have learned about Tanah Lot Temple, as well as gain a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity and values reflected in the beliefs of the Balinese people through this visit.
