Singaraja – Department of Law and Citizenship, FHIS Undiksha held a National Seminar on Thursday (26/10) in Ganesha Room 3, Ganesha Education University Rectorate Building. This National Seminar for the Department of Law and Citizenship took the theme, “Zoon Politicon” Youth Sovereignty in Determining the Direction of Indonesian Democracy. The opening activity began with singing the song Indonesia Raya, then continued with the report from the Chair of the National Seminar Committee for the Department of Law and Citizenship, I Wayan Budiarta, S.Pd., M.Pd. After that, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Dean of FHIS Undiksha on this occasion gave a speech and opened the National Seminar on the Department of Law and Citizenship, accompanied by the Head of the Department of Law and Citizenship, Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H. Apart from that, this activity was attended by the Secretary of the Law and Citizenship Department, several Study Program Coordinators within FHIS as well as lecturers from the Law and Citizenship Department.
Entering the main event, guided by the moderator from the Law and Citizenship Department Lecturer, Dr. Ni Ketut Sari Adnyani, S.Pd., M.Hum. National Seminar event begins. This National Seminar was started by the Main Speaker who was the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. This National Seminar also presented 2 resource persons who were officials from Buleleng Regency and Badung Regency. The first resource person, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd., as Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency. He explained the material according to the theme of what democracy is like today. The second resource person was Dr. I Wayan Suambara, S.H., M.M. Head of the Badung Regency Regional Research and Innovation Agency. He explained material related to Youth Determining the Direction of Indonesian Democracy.
The next session was filled with questions and answers. Students as participants were very enthusiastic in asking questions to the resource persons in the discussion and were immediately responded to by the resource persons. The National Seminar on the Department of Law and Citizenship activities closed with the presentation of the Award Certificate to the Resource Person and Moderator, then continued with a photo session with the invitees and students.
