The inauguration of BEM FHIS for the 2020/2021 term of service took place online via the Google Meet application on Monday, 18 May 2020, at 11.00 WITA, which was attended by the Dean, Deputy Deans I, II, III, Student Affairs Advisor, Lecturers and Head of TU, Head of TU Subdivision, Chair of the Student Executive Board in 2019, Member of the BEM and HMJ Management of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences in 2019. This activity took place at the reading of the Decree on the Determination of the Student Executive Board (BEM) Management and Student Association Management of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences by the Head of Student Affairs Subdivision FHIS.

After that, the Department Handover (Event News) done by the head of BEM FHIS in 2019-2020 was handed over to the head of BEM FHIS in 2020-2021.

The Oath of Office was also carried out which was read by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and followed by the Chair and administrators of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences for the 2020-2021 term.
