Singaraja – To receive Accreditation, one of the Study Programs within the Undiksha Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, namely the Sociology Education Undergraduate Study Program, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Monday (18/12) in the IKI FHIS Undiksha Room. This activity, which took place in a hybrid manner, focused on discussing the Revised Vision and Mission of the Sociology Education Study Program. As Chair of the Organizing Committee, Muhammad Idris, M.Pd. submitted a committee report on the activity. The FGD activity was opened by Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Dean of FHIS Undiksha. Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika in his speech provided direction for preparations for accreditation of the Sociology Education Study Program. This FGD was also attended by Deputy Dean I, Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., and Deputy Dean II, I Putu Ananda Citra, S.Pd., M.Sc. Head and Secretary of the Department, as well as a lecturer in the Department of History, Sociology, and Libraries. From external parties to the Study Program, this FGD also presented participants from the Buleleng Regency Sociology Education MGMP, Media, namely the Editor of Tat Kala, Sociology Education Alumni, representatives from the Buleleng Regency Education, Youth and Sports Office and the Buleleng Regency Social Service.

This FGD activity for Revision of the Vision and Mission of the Sociology Education Study Program presented Prof. Dr. Luh Putu Sendratari, M. Hum. as resource person. Prof. Dr. Luh Putu Sendratari started the FGD by providing an orientation to ideas related to preparing a revision of the study program’s vision and mission. After that, the resource persons and FGD participants who were present took part in a group discussion which was then continued with a group presentation. After this series of events, the results of the FGD Revision of the Vision and Mission of the Sociology Education Study Program were determined which will later be stated in the accreditation document for the Sociology Education Undergraduate Study Program.
