Singaraja – Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities at the sub-district level in the Work of Preparing the Conflict Prone Database Mapping Study for Buleleng Regency were held again for the last 2 sub-districts in Buleleng regency, namely Busungbiu sub-district and Gerokgak sub-district on Tuesday (6/6). The purpose of holding this FGD activity is to collect data in the context of preparing the Buleleng Regency Conflict Prone Database Mapping Study which was held by the Buleleng Regency Government through the Buleleng Regency Regional Research, Development and Innovation Agency and in collaboration with the Type II Self-Management Implementation Team through the University’s Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Ganesha Education.
The first FGD activity was carried out in the Busungbiu sub-district which was held at the Busungbiu Village Perbekel Office. This activity was led by one of the Swakelola Implementing members in preparing the study, namely Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H. He presented the guidelines relating to the preparation of this study to FGD participants from the Busungbiu sub-district who were also accompanied by Drs. Made Supartawan, M.M., as Head of the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Agency, Buleleng Regency. The FGD participants included the Head of the National Unity and Politics Agency for Buleleng Regency, the sub-district head, the military district commander, the police chief, the sub-district head, the village head, the village supervisor, Bhayangkara, the community security and order supervisor. After providing the guidelines, Swakelola Implementing members distributed questionnaires to all participants.
On the same day, an FGD was also held in Gerokgak sub-district, precisely at the Gerokgak sub-district office. The FGD in Gerokgak sub-district was also led by Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H. Similar to the previous sub-district, the FGD stage was filled with presentation of material by the Swakelola Implementation Team, discussion sessions with FGD participants and filling out questionnaires. The FGD participants who attended were also the Gerokgak sub-district Regional Work Unit. Apart from the FGD participants, this activity was also accompanied by other members of the Swakelola Executive and Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, M.Pd. as Chair of the Swakelola Implementation Team in this study. Apart from that, the FGD activities were also accompanied by staff from the Buleleng Regency Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Agency.
