Singaraja- Another proud achievement was achieved by students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University (Undiksha). This time it came from the Udayana Knights Education and Sharing Movement Scientific Writing Competition (GEBRAK LKTI) held by BEM-PM Udayana University on October 15, 2022.
In this competition, which was attended by university students in Bali, the Undiksha team consisted of Kadek Nova Suadnyana from the History Education Study Program, I Made Bawadi Adistanaya from the Sociology Education Study Program, Ni Made Rida Divayani from the History Education Study Program, and Kadek Faldy Dwi Surastawan from the History Education Study Program. D3 Library won first place. This achievement was delivered by the work of history learning media called Digi-History.
The team leader, Nova Suadnyana, explained that the work was motivated by a phenomenon in a society that considers history lessons to be not very important for students’ futures. In addition, many students complained that history lessons were just lectures between teachers and students and were considered boring lessons. Therefore, his team took the initiative to create a digital learning media innovation called Digi-History based on QR codes.
Preparation to take part in this event took about a month, under the guidance of lecturer, I Putu Hendra Mas Martayana, S.Pd., M.A. “Very happy because I had the opportunity to convey my ideas and was trusted to be the first winner,” he said.
This achievement received appreciation from the Undiksha leadership. Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., said that this achievement could support Undiksha’s ranking in the Student Ranking Management System (Simkatmawa), in addition to increasing student competitiveness. “We hope that in the future student achievement will increase. Likewise, more and more students are achieving,” he said. (hms)
