The Department of Legal Sciences, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University held a series of activities at Red’s Pride 2018. Red’s Pride 2018 is an annual program carried out by HMJ, Department of Legal Sciences, as well as to celebrate the Department’s 4th anniversary. Red’s Pride 2018 this time takes the theme, “Unity on Diversity” and lasts for 8 days, starting from Sunday – Monday, 21 – 28 October 2018.

Red’s Pride 2018 began with a leisurely walk that took place on Sunday (21/10). The leisurely walk took place at the UNDIKSHA Flag Ceremony Field and was attended by the Head of the Department along with Lecturer Staff in the Department of Law and all students from various levels in the Department of Law.

Then Red’s Pride 2018 was filled with the 2018 Legal Studies Boys and Girls Selection Activities which took place on Monday (22/10) at the UNDIKSHA FHIS Seminar Room. The 2018 male and female legal science candidates were attended by student representatives from each class in the legal science department. This selection event presented 3 judges, namely, Ni Putu Rai Yuliartini, S.H., M.H., I Gusti Made Arya Suta Wirawan, S.Hum., M.Si., and I Wayan Santika who was the 2017 Elected Son of Law.

Tuesday, (23/10) Red’s Pride 2018 was filled with a Student Creativity Program Competition (PKM) between classes in the Department of Law. Apart from academic events, Red’s Pride 2018 is also filled with Futsal Competitions which are held from Wednesday to Thursday, 24 to 25 October 2018. This Futsal Competition is located at Singaraja Futsal. Apart from that, there are also Family Bazaar and Blood Donation activities at the FHIS UNDIKSHA Open Stage which lasts for 2 days, namely Thursday to Friday, 25 to 26 October 2018.

Friday, (26/10) a Debate Competition was held for representatives of Law Department students. On the same day, Red’s Pride 2018 was filled with flower-sowing activities at the Churastana Singaraja Heroes’ Cemetery which was attended by the Head of the Department and Lecturer Staff in Legal Studies as well as representatives from HMJ Legal Sciences.

Then Red’s Pride 2018 was equipped with a Social Assistance Handover Activity which took place on Sunday (28/10). The social assistance was handed over by the Head of the Law Department and received by the Management of the Ananda Sevadharma Buleleng Orphanage.

Red’s Pride 2018 closed with an Arts Degree Night event with the theme, “Sound of Justice” which took place at the Gde Manik Arts Building last Saturday (3/11). This Art Degree Night was filled with entertainment performers, one of whom was Joni Agung and Double T. Not only entertainment events, MGS activities were filled with the coronation of I Wayan Ariawan and Ni Putu Wulan Noviarini as the Son and Daughter of Law for 2018. Not only that, on the occasion, the Chair of the Department of Law, Ratna Artha Windari, S.H., M.H. also inaugurated the Hymn and Mars of the Department of Law.
