The Department of Legal Sciences, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, held a Regional Speech Competition at the SMA/SMK/MA Level throughout Bali on Monday (23/7). This competition activity took place at the UNDIKSHA Seminar Building at 09.00 WITA with competition participants coming from SMA/SMK/MA who had passed the previous selection.
The speech competition that was held took the theme “The Role of Youth as Agents of Change in Problems in Indonesia”. The competition was coordinated directly by students who are members of HMJ Legal Sciences. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed. as Dean of FHIS also had the opportunity to officially open this competition. In his opening remarks, he was very proud of all the competition participants who had participated.
This speech competition certainly presents a jury to assess the overall performance of the competition participants. This competition activity presents three judges who come from lecturer staff within the UNDIKSHA environment, namely First, Aldo Rico Geraldi, S.H., M.H. who is one of the lecturers from the Department of Law. Second, I Gusti Made Arya Suta Wirawan, S.Hum., M.Si., a lecturer from the Department of Sociology Education. Third, Kadek Wirahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd., a lecturer from the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education.
This speech competition consists of two sessions. Meanwhile, during the competition, all participants were very maximal in presenting their speeches. After the two competition sessions were finished, it was time to announce the winner of the competition. The winners of the Regional Speech Contest at SMA/SMK/MA level are as follows.
- First place was won by I Kadek Mira Merta Ningsih who came from SMAN 1 Singaraja
- Second place was won by Lalu Erlangga A. Ahzar who came from SMAN 2 Amlapura
- Third place was won by Edwin Hans Sanjaya who came from SMAN 1 Singaraja
- The first runner-up was I Gede Susila Wibawa who came from SMKN 2 Sukawati
- Second place winner was I Komang Wiratama from SMAN 1 Gerokgak
