Singaraja- Towards the end of 2021, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) students’ achievements continue. This time it came from a national-level essay competition that took place in October. Legal Studies Program student, Putu Pipit Pricellia Eka Putri, succeeded in winning three trophies. This achievement was conveyed to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd, Monday (1/11/2021).
Pipit, her nickname, explained that the trophy was won from different essay competitions with dozens of participants each. First, from an event held by the Semarang Muhammadiyah Student Association. Her essay entitled “The Principle of Heroes for Students: Accentuating Personal Quality Through a Balance Between Achievement and Organizational Studies” led her to win first place. Second place, from the event held by MPM Surabaya State University. She, who presented an essay entitled “Non-Penal Policy Model Based on a Forguad System as an Effort to Minimize Political Money for the Realization of a Democratic Election in 2024” won second place. Third, the trophy was presented through an event held by the Bali BEM Alliance. She wrote “SLEMAN: Lembongan Mango Jam Based on Hand Made High-Quality Local Brand as an Effort to Restore Nusa Penida’s Economic and Tourism Conditions. This work led her to win second place. “This is the competition in October 2021. All national levels,” she explained.
Her success in achieving this brilliant achievement cannot be separated from the role of his mentor, Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H., as well as support from Undiksha leadership. “Of course, I am very proud to be able to present the trophy to Undiksha,” she said. Furthermore, this fifth-semester student’s participation in the essay competition is not the first time. In the previous event, his work received a prize for best paper. His love for writing has been growing for a long time. “I like writing. By writing I can hone my skills of skill. “This is also important for facing the final assignment writing later,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suastra expressed appreciation for this achievement. He emphasized that this achievement is not only important for university rankings, but also supports student competitiveness. “Later in the world of work, this achievement will be asked about. “This is very important,” he said. He hopes that in the future the enthusiasm of Undiksha students to take part in competitions and excel can continue to be maintained and increase.
