Singaraja – D3 Library Study Program, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Undiksha held a Workshop on Curriculum Development for Bachelor of Library Science and Information Science on Friday (17/11). Apart from being held directly in the IKI FHIS Undiksha Room, this workshop activity was held in a hybrid manner. This workshop activity was held with the aim of developing the D3 Library Study Program into a Bachelor of Library Science.
The Library and Information Science Undergraduate Curriculum Development Workshop was opened directly by the Dean of FHIS, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd. This workshop was also attended by I Wayan Pardi, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Head of the History, Sociology, and Library Department, Dr. Luh Putu Sri Ariyani, S.S., M.Hum. as Coordinator of the D3 Library Study Program, Lecturer Staff in the Department of History, Sociology, and Libraries. Apart from that, this activity was also attended by Undiksha Librarian, Drs. I Ketut Artana, S.Sos., Librarian in Buleleng Regency, Alumni of the D3 Library Study Program, and Alumni User of the D3 Library Study Program.
Entering the main event accompanied by the D3 Library Study Program Coordinator, the workshop began with a presentation of material by the First Resource Person, Muhammad Rosyihan Hendrawan, M.Hum. who is a Lecturer in the Bachelor of Science Study Program at FIA Brawijaya University. Then the second resource person, Ni Made Dwi Heny Christanti, S.E. who is a Librarian from Jembrana Regency. After the presentation of the material, several workshop participants who attended provided input which could later be used in developing the curriculum for Bachelor of Library Science.
