Singaraja- The Department of Law and Citizenship at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) has turned 3 years old. At this relatively young age, the academic community continues to move to accelerate the realization of the vision through strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This was emphasized by the Head of the Department, Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., after opening a series of birthday events, on Saturday (23/10/2021).
This academic from Panji Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency explained that since its inception, the department has been committed to producing reliable and competitive graduates, by producing professional teachers and law graduates. “This is the big dream of our department. “How will we get better quality and more competitive in the future, both nationally and internationally,” he stressed.
To realize this, the strengthening of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education continues to be carried out, the implementation of which also includes collaboration with other parties outside the university. So far, various achievements have been achieved by students, both at national and international levels. This achievement also makes the university proud. “The presence of this department of course also wants to be able to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the university. “So we continue to take strategic steps,” he said.
This anniversary celebration was filled with activities entitled Civic Law Celebration. Dewa Mangku hopes that it will be able to strengthen the sense of family within the department’s academic community. Students are also encouraged to continue to explore and develop their potential so that they can become a generation that is strong, successful, and adaptive to change.
“The real essence of this department’s anniversary is not just to have fun, but how we can contemplate, like the theme we took “Do Action and Be Creative During The Pandemic”.
