Singaraja– Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) continues to strive to improve the quality of education. Collaboration with other universities is the strategy offered. One of them is the Faculty of Philosophy, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta. This was agreed on, Thursday (10/10/2019) in conjunction with a community service program.
Deputy Dean II FHIS, Drs. I Wayan Landrawan, M.Si who received the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy UGM, Dr. Arqom Kuswanjono and his entourage revealed that of the seven study programs at FHIS, three have been accredited A, namely History Education, Geography Education and Pancasila and Citizenship Education. His party continues to make efforts to make study programs that are still accredited B, able to “move up a class”, to have the same accreditation. It is hoped that this collaboration can support this. “Increasing accreditation is our target. “Of course, we hope that this collaboration can contribute to each other,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Dr. Arqom Kuswanjono said that collaboration in the field of philosophy is very possible with FHIS Undiksha because it has a related study program. The form is not only in the form of community service but also research and journal development. “We already have a Dikti-accredited philosophy journal, Sinta 2. This also includes achievements as well. “Now it is also entering the process into Scopus,” he explained.
Collaboration in the field of improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) through further studies is also considered to be possible. UGM is very open to this. “If there are lecturers who want to study further in the field of philosophy, they can also enter into collaboration,” he added. (hms)
