Singaraja – Geography Education Study Program, Geography Department, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University received a visit from the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) Assessor Team at the FHIS Undiksha Seminar Room. This visit from the LAMDIK Assessor Team aims to conduct a Field Assessment in the context of Accreditation of the Geography Education Study Program, Geography Department, FHIS Undiksha. This field assessment activity was held on Friday and Saturday, 7 and 8 July 2023. The team of assessors from the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) who were present to carry out the visitation included Prof. Dr. Dewi Liesnor Setyowati, M.Si. from Semarang State University, and Dr. rer. Nat. Nandi, S.Pd., M.T., M.Sc. from the Indonesian University of Education.
The opening of the Field Assessment activities was held on Friday (7/7). The Field Assessment activity was opened directly by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation at Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T, M.T.I. He also had the opportunity to deliver his remarks, hoping that the Geography Education Study Program Accreditation Field Assessment activities would run smoothly. The opening activity was also filled with a video showing the FHIS Undiksha profile.
Entering the core accreditation activities, the leaders of FHIS Undiksha, such as the Dean and the Deputy Deans, submitted faculty accreditation documents. After that, the Accreditation Team from the Geography Education Study Program carried out data confirmation, such as LED data accompanied by the LAMDIK Assessor Team. Then the activity continued with an interview session between the LAMDIK Assessor Team together with FHIS Education Staff, Geography Education Study Program Students as well as alumni and graduate users from the Geography Education Study Program who had the opportunity to attend the activity.
On the following day, Saturday (8/7), the LAMDIK Assessor Team accompanied one of the lecturers from the Geography Education Study Program, namely Prof. Dr. I Gede Astra Wesnawa, M.Si. in learning observations. Apart from that, the Assessor Team also made observations on the facilities and infrastructure that support learning. Then the activity continued with independent work by LAMDIK Assessors. At the end of the visitation activity, the LAMDIK Assessor Team submitted the Minutes of the Field Assessment and signed it together with the Dean and Study Program Leaders.
