SINGARAJA – 24 October 2023 | The Batur Geopark Museum is a museum that provides information on national and foreign geoparks. It is located on Jalan Raya Penelokan, Kintamani, Bangli, Bali. The inauguration was held on May 10, 2017. Previously, the Batur Geopark Museum was called the Batur Volcano Museum. The name was changed after building developments were carried out by the Bangli Regency government and the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The Batur Geopark Museum is used to provide information to the public about the benefits and dangers caused by volcanoes in Indonesia.
This activity involved the Nusantara Module Lecturer, namely Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., with a tour guide who guides students in exploring the Batur area at the Museum. Lecturers not only provide detailed explanations about the area but also allow students to ask questions or express their opinions. This activity ended with the lecturer summarizing the lessons learned during the visit, providing an opportunity for reflection and a deeper understanding of the Batur Region and the museum’s collections.
