The UNDIKSHA Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Student Executive Board (BEM) has held the “2018 Social Studies Competition (IPS Olympiad)” activity. This activity is a student activity that is carried out regularly every year at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.

The 2018 Social Studies Competition (IPS Olympiad) activities started with the Preliminary Round which took place on Sunday (7/10). The preliminary round was held in each rayon in the districts of Bali Province. Then continued with the Semi-Final and Final Rounds which were held on Sunday (14/10) at the Seminar Room and Classroom in the FHIS Environment.

The opening of the 2018 Social Studies Competition activities which took place in the FHIS Seminar Room was opened directly by the Faculty Student Affairs Advisor, I Wayan Putra Yasa, S.Pd., M.Pd. This opening event was attended by the Deputy Dean III of FHIS and several Department Student Affairs Advisors at FHIS as well as Assistant Teachers from each School. After the opening ceremony, the event continued with the Semi-Final Round at the FHIS Environment.

After the Semi-Final Round was held smoothly, the event continued with the Final Round. Participants in this Final Round consisted of 3 people from SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar, SMP LAB Undiksha Singaraja, and SMP Negeri 1 Kintamani. In this round, there are 3 judges who judge, namely:

1. I Wayan Treman, S.Pd., M.Sc. who is Deputy Dean III of FHIS
2. Kadek Rai Suwena, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is one of the lecturers from the UNDIKSHA Department of Economic Education
3. I Wayan Putra Yasa, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is one of the lecturers from the UNDIKSHA History Education Department

After going through the Final Round, participants were selected who emerged as Champions in the 2018 Social Studies Competition Activities, namely:
