08/27/2019 at the Seminar Building, Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, an Academic Seminar was held in the Department of History, Sociology, and Libraries, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, with the theme “Tri Hita Karana Local Genius Bali To Strengthen the Integrity of the Indonesian Millennial Generation.”
The Academic Seminar was opened by the SSP Chair of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, GaneshaI Made Pageh University of Education and the material was filled by I Wayan Putra Yasa, a History Lecturer at FHIS Undiksha. As many as dozens of students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences participated in the Seminar.
I Wayan Putra Yasa said in his material that the millennial generation who lives in an era of globalization full of competition must have personal integrity. Our integrity as an Indonesian nation is based on the nation’s national consensus, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ikka. Making this happen is certainly not an easy matter, however, through understanding local wisdom such as Tri Hita Karana, it is not impossible to achieve it. Various challenges, both horizontal and vertical, can be resolved if all components of the nation maintain good relations based on divine values (parhyangan), human values (pawongan), and harmony with nature (palemahan). Therefore, let the Undiksha millennial generation be optimistic about looking at a better future, to become a superior generation in Southeast Asia in 2045.
