Saturday, 10/05/2019, on the Third Floor of the Ganesha Education University Rectorate Building, a National Seminar was held at the Department of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, with the theme “Building Democracy Through Quality Elections”, there were dozens of participants.
The Academic Seminar was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Prof. Sukadi M.Pd., M.Ed, in his opening statement stated that good democracy will be in line with the quality of the leaders and representatives of the people who emerge from the elections.
This seminar was chaired by one of the Law and Citizenship Department lecturers, namely Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., L.L.M, stated that the aim of organizing this seminar was to reflect on the results of the elections that took place in June 2019 and provide an understanding of political participation that builds politics.
At this seminar, the guest speaker was Constitutional Court Judge Dr. I Dewa Palguna S.H., M.Hum who presented the material “Democracy, Elections and the Constitutional Court”, Dr. I Made Mangku Pastika, M.M who presented the material “Democracy Is Not Just an Election Routine” and Prof. Lasmawan, M.Pd presented the material “Reconstructing the Democratic Literacy of Beginner Voters.
