Singaraja– Law students at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) are making achievements one after another. This time it came from Gede Surya Aditya Madra, Made Bagas Ari Kusuma Darma, and Kadek Diva Hendrayana. The three of them who were part of one team won second place in the Constitution Week scientific writing competition in collaboration with the Constitutional Court which took place at Udayana University, 31 October – 1 November 2019.
Surya Aditya explained that the competition was attended by all universities in Bali that have legal studies programs. However, those who passed were Undiksha, Unud, Panji Sakti University, and Tabanan University. “Undiksha succeeded in winning second place,” he explained.
Regarding this achievement, he and his team said they were proud because they were able to represent the institution and succeeded in making achievements. From this event, students can understand more deeply the Constitutional Court which is the institution that protects the spirit of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. “We as the younger generation should help maintain the constitutional life of the state, by studying, understanding and implementing the values values contained in the Constitution,” he said.
According to him, this is important to implement so that the constitution is not considered something high and difficult to reach in its implementation, by the theme of this competition, namely “Grounding the Constitution to Strengthen the Nation’s Children to Love the Homeland”.
