The Webinar activities held by the Geography Department are a series of Webinar activities that have been carried out previously. The 2nd Webinar which was held on 05 November 2020 via ZOOM, took the theme “The Role of Surveyors in Supporting Mapping Related to Land and Building Taxes” by presenting resource persons from the Regional Government of Buleleng Regency, namely the Regional Financial and Revenue Management Agency (BPKPD), the Head of Tax Data Collection and Determination, namely Mrs. Ni Nyoman Sukadani, S.Sos. He explained that material regarding data collection and tax determination is very necessary for surveyors because obtaining data to determine the amount of tax is carried out using two methods, namely the passive method where processing is carried out using existing map data, then the active method is carried out by conducting a survey directly in the field and checking the existence of land/buildings in the field. He did not forget to say that the surveyor staff owned by BPKPD was still very minimal and surveyors were still needed. The need for surveyors is needed so that data collection and tax determination for the community can increase Regional Original Income (PAD) and regional tax potential. Based on the explanation that has been expressed by Mrs. Sukadani, it is very necessary for the community and students, especially in the Geography Department which has a Survey and Mapping Diploma study program as a producer of surveyors. The enthusiasm of the participants was very visible when entering the question and answer session where the participants present were not only from the Ganesha Education University but also from other universities including; Malang National Institute of Technology, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Bali State Polytechnic, Nineteen November University Kolaka, Udayana University, Warmadewa University, Purwokerta Open University, IAHN-TP Palangkaraya, SPIG Indonesian Education University, STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa, University of 17 August 1945, Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta, Bunda Mulia University, and Indonesian Education University. Not only academics attended as participants, but there were also participants from Jayapura Regency government agencies, Tejakula 1 State Vocational School, One Roof SMPN Bunga Mekar, and Tax Consultants.
