Friday, October 1, 2021, SENACILA 2 was held, namely the National Civic Law Seminar, Department of Law and Citizenship Education, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha University of Education with the theme “The Role of Education in Character Development and Anti-Corruption Spirit in Higher Education”. This activity began with a report from the Chair of the Committee, namely Mr. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL. M. as Head of the Department of Law and Social Sciences. This activity was opened by the Chancellor of the Ganesha Education University, who this time was represented by the Deputy Chancellor I of the Ganesha Education University, Mr. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T, M.T.I, and this seminar was guided by Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S. Pd. M. Pd.
This Senacila invited two sources, namely the first, Komjen. Pol. Drs. Firli Bahuri, M.Si is Chair of the KPK of the Republic of Indonesia, and Prof. I Wayan Lasmawan, M. Pd. is an academic who currently serves as Deputy Chancellor II of Undiksha. This activity was attended by almost a thousand participants who were the nation’s young generation.
This National Civic Law Seminar aims to provide knowledge to the nation’s future generations to avoid corruption by improving the system so that corruption can be eradicated and there is no opportunity for corruption. Commissioner General. Pol. Drs. Firli Bahuri, M.Si said in his material that Corruption can be eradicated in 3 ways, namely Education, Prevention and Action, and Prof. I Wayan Lasmawan, M. Pd. adding that corruption, if only prevention and action are carried out, will not be able to eradicate these corrupt practices, so the role of universities must provide anti-corruption education from an early age with the tri-university system, namely providing education and learning, research and community service.
