On Monday, January 31, 2022, the Gis Mini Project Competition activity was held nationally, targeting students in Indonesia in the Spatial field. This activity was carried out online in the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and via the Zoom Meeting platform. The “GIS Mini Project Competition” activity was held by the Geography Department Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University with the theme “Optimizing the role of GIS for successSustainable Development Goals in Indonesia in 2045”. The aim of holding the GMPC (GIS Mini Project Competition) is that GIS can be used to study things related to development so it is hoped that GIS can be optimized to make the SDGs a success in Indonesia in 2045. Specifically, the aim of implementing the GMPC (GIS Mini Project Competition) is to (1) provide a vehicle for students to develop their interests and talents so that they can innovate and be creative according to their abilities (2) This competition was held to test participants’ thinking and spatial analysis skills in solving problems using GIS tools.
The Gis Mini Project Competition activity was opened by the Head of the Geography Department, I Gede Yudi Wisnawa S.Pd., M.Sc., and was also attended by lecturers. This activity was attended by 15 student teams from 6 universities in Indonesia. The winners of this competition came from 3 universities in Indonesia as follows:

The jury involved 3 judges from one of the Ganesha Education University lecturers, Mr. I Wayan Krisna Eka Putra., S.Pd., M.Eng., then from Esri Indonesia (Community Development Executive) Mrs. Nadira Nuri Auliani and practitioner Mr. Ridwan Ardiyanto, S.Si. This activity was closed by the MC at the direction of the Head of the Geography Department who referred to the schedule of events that had been determined.
