Singaraja- The Law and Citizenship Department Student Association at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) carried out Reading Writing Playing (RWP) activities, on Sunday (18/9/2022).
This activity is to build a sense of togetherness and develop character.
This activity carries the theme “Small Steps For Big Action”, which means starting something with small steps towards action and having a big impact. This activity targets children at the Dana Punia Singaraja Orphanage located in Banyuning Village.
Committee Chair, Komang Martha Seniasti explained that this RWP activity is one of HMJ’s work programs for 2022. The form of activity carried out is in the form of handing over donations in the form of necessities, stationery, and suitable clothing to the foundation. Apart from that, there was material regarding Genre (Planned Generation) presented by the 2021 Undiksha Genre Ambassador, Komang Citra Pratiwi. This activity is to provide additional education to the children of the Dana Punia Singaraja Orphanage, that it is important to plan for the future and avoid juvenile delinquency. Apart from that, there are games to entertain and practice cooperation.
This activity was opened by the Head of the Undiksha Law and Citizenship Department, Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M. He expressed his appreciation for HMJ’s consistency in carrying out this social activity. It was emphasized that this activity was not only a form of implementation of the university’s dharma in the form of community service but also to build students’ sensitivity to the social conditions and realities of society. “Through this, students can learn. “You can find out about problems in society and take steps to lighten the burden,” he concluded.
