Singaraja – On Sunday (05/11) at the Undiksha Auditorium, HMJ Geography FHIS Undiksha held the closing and culmination of a series of events “GEOPHORIA #1(Geography in Euphoria) as well as celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Geography Department starting from the implementation of the department and study program organization since 2019.

This event began with the “OPEN HOUSE” event by inviting teachers and SMA/SMK/MA students throughout Buleleng Regency to introduce equipment and attract students’ interest in getting involved in the field of Geography and continuing their studies in one of the study programs in the Geography Department.

The main event began with a report from the Chair of HMJ Geography, Putu Amanda Ayu Ramantari, followed by a speech from the Chair of the Geography Department, I Gede Yudi Wisnawa, S.Pd., M.Sc., as well as the official closing of a series of events by the Dean of FHIS, who was represented on this occasion. by the Deputy Dean III for Student and Alumni Affairs, FHIS, Dr. Ketut Sedana Arta, S.Pd., M.Pd.

The event was also attended by Deputy Dean I of FHIS, Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., L.L.M, Secretary of the Geography Department, I Gede Budiarta, S.Pd., M.Si., Study Program Coordinators within the Geography Department, Geography Department Lecturer Staff, Invited Teachers and Students throughout Buleleng Regency, Invited Ormawa Delegations within the FHIS scope, as well as all Geography Department students from 3 Study Programs (Geography Department, Geography, D4 TRPJ).

The event was filled with ceremonial celebrations of the Geography Department’s anniversary symbolically with the cutting of tumpeng and cake, Geo Awards for outstanding students, spontaneous entertainment for Geography Department students and lecturers (Indonesian Pop Karaoke, Regional Dance “Tor-Tor” from students from North Sumatra, Indonesian Regional Fashion Show ), entertainment from invited performers from UKM Musik Undiksha (1122, and IWS), as well as guest star band performances (Motifora, Freqlin’Blassed).
