Singaraja – On Friday (15/09), at Ganesha Room 3, Rectorate Building, Ganesha University of Education, National Civic Law Seminar #5, Department of Law and Citizenship, was held which was held by the Student Association of the Department of Law and Citizenship, which took place in a hybrid manner.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd. M.Pd gave his speech while opening the seminar with the theme “Challenges in Facing Trolling Violence and Implementing Legal Protection in the Digital Era from a Gender Perspective”. This national seminar was also attended by Deputy Dean II and Deputy III of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Head of the Department and Secretary of the Department of Law and Citizenship, Coordinator of the Legal Sciences Study Program, Coordinator of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Student Advisor for the Department of Law and Citizenship, as well as Lecturer Staff at Law and Citizenship Department Environment.
National Civic Law Seminar #5 was carried out with the aim of building a discussion forum whose role is to provide questions, reviews, and discussions so as to produce an understanding of the importance of the young generation becoming “literate about the issue of violence in the digital world” so that they can synergize in development and participatory efforts. This activity was guided by a moderator who was one of the lecturers from the Department of Law and Citizenship, namely Ni Putu Ega Parwati, S.H., M.H. and on this occasion there were two speakers from the Deputy for Protection of Women’s Rights, Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Ratna Susianawati, S.H., M.H. as well as the Secretary of LBH Apik Bali, Luh Putu Anggraeni, S.H.
The seminar, which was attended by approximately 500 participants both online and offline, was very interactive because the resource person raised cases of violence that were rife in society, inviting participants to ask questions. After the presentation and question and answer session, the activity ended with the presentation of certificates to the resource person and moderator.
