Friday, 29/11/2019 at the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University, a public lecture was held for the 2019 Sociology Education study program with the theme “Challenges of Sociology Education and Learning in the Digital Society Era” with the sub-theme Sociology Education and Learning in Society Multicultural.

This Public Lecture was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Prof. Sukadi M.Pd., M.Ed, and the resource person for this public lecture is Prof. Dr. I Ketut Suda, M.Sc. who is Deputy Chancellor I of Denpasar Hindu University.

In his material, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Suda, M. Si gave material about learning strategies, which are tactics or learning activities carried out by teachers and students to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. In studying the sociology of education, teachers/prospective teachers must understand that the success of a learning process does not lie in how much material the teacher can convey to students, but the success of a learning process is largely determined by how far the material given to students can change their knowledge and attitudes. , and the behavior of students in social, national, and state life and in the study of sociology, teacher and candidate education should also be able to raise students’ awareness that the purpose of education is not merely to create graduates ready to enter the world of work, but is also intended to increase the dignity and worth of human dignity.
